Applebaum Friday Night Jazz Service
Danny Wallenberg conducts the adult, children’s, and family choirs of the Jewish Reconstructionist

Joint JRC/Rogers Park Children’s Choir concert Danny Wallenberg conducts the choirs of the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation and the
Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir of the Chicago Children’s Choir. The program will feature about
a dozen of my liturgical and non-liturgical pieces.
The performance will include the world
premier of Was, Is, and Shall Be Forever, for cantor, adult and children’s choirs, accompanied
by string trio and piano. The Hebrew and English text of this nearly seven minute work
interpolates the prayer Adon Olam with the opening verses of Genesis.

Coriolis Spring Concerts Gregg Skalinder conducts the Coriolis a cappella ensemble in two performances
that will include two world premiers: my setting of the Hannah Senesh poem,
Yesh Kochavim (dedicated to the memory of Ruth Gideon) as well as my setting
of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, A Time for Every Thing.

Kol Zimrah Yom Yerushalayim Concert Richard Boldrey conducts the Kol Zimrah Chorus in a program that includes my setting of Y’rushalayim.
